Pre-Tour Beijing & Xian Extension (Group tour)
7th January: Beijing
Arrive at Beijing Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

8th January: Beijing (B,L)
Enjoy a guided tour of Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven.

9th January: Beijing (B,L)
Enjoy a morning visit to Mutianyu Great Wall with lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon visit Summer Palace.

10th January: Beijing – Xian (B,L)
This morning transfer to airport for flight to Xian. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon we visit Terracotta Warriors & Warrior Workshop and stop by the historic Bell Tower.
Hotel – 5* Howard Johnson Plaza or similar
11th January: Xian – Kunming (B,L)
This morning visit the Ancient City Walls & South Gate. In the afternoon we transfer for a flight to Kunming. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kunming.
Join the rest of the group for day one of the eclipse tour and evening welcome dinner.

Note: this price is based on a group tour – we group together other guests from Oriental Travel who also book the eclipse tour. If out no other passengers join this extension, then it will be provided as a private tour (without extra charge).

Pre / Post Tour Hong Kong Extension
17th January: Kunming – Hong Kong
Transfer to airport for a flight to Hong Kong. On arrival, take your own taxi to the hotel.
(It is easy to get a taxi at the airport, which costs around £25).
If a private transfer is required- it will be at the following costs;
£48 for 1 passenger; £30/pp for 2 pax; £25/pp for 3-4 pax; £20/pp for 5 pax or more)
18th January: Hong Kong
A half day seat-in-coach tour taking in the main sights, including Victoria Peak for great view’s across the city. . The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
19th January: Hong Kong
Today is free to explore Hong Kong at your leisure.
20th January: Hong Kong
Take your own taxi to airport for flight home.
